The British International School of Charlotte is seeking a passionate, energetic and creative Primary Class Teacher. Initial placement would be in a Year 2, 3 or 4 class.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will bring a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification and considerable teaching experience to the table. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the level of achievement of all.

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. Selection Process

The closing date for application is January 22nd, 2021. Because of the global pandemic, both first and final interviews will be conducted remotely by Zoom/Teams or telephone and we hope to make an offer to the successful candidate in early February 2021.

Visa Requirement

Applicants must comply with visa requirements for working in the United States of America. The school can only gain Visa approvals for UK nationals, so while applications from teachers of other nationalities can be accepted, applicants must have permission to work in the US via other means (or be US nationals).

Start Date: August 2021
