The British International School, Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) is a member of The British Schools Foundation, one of the largest networks of British international schools in the world with schools in Spain, China, Russia, Brazil, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the Philippines.
The school opened its doors in September 2009 and has become increasingly popular. The roll is currently 1050 pupils, with 400 in an expanding Secondary School. The Primary School has an Early Years department, comprising seven classes, and years 1 to 6 is five-form entry.

Suitable candidates for this post will:
- Hold a good Honours Degree.
- Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or similar)
- Have experience and excellent knowledge of teaching the English National Curriculum. A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience is essential.
- Understand and be able to articulate what constitutes outstanding classroom practice.
- Want to play an active role in the co-curricular life of a busy international school.
- Possess the ambition, enthusiasm and growth mindset to want to play a key role in shaping and developing an outstanding school.
Interviews will be held in Kuala Lumpur/by Skype for applicants based overseas.
