The Role
We are looking for a passionate Primary Class Teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education and inspiring young learners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school and make a meaningful impact on pupils’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with school curricular aims.
- Provide suitable academic challenges that enable each pupil to reach their potential.
- Foster a positive, well-disciplined classroom environment.
- Assess pupils' work effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date curriculum knowledge.
- Communicate regularly with pupils, parents, colleagues, and senior leaders.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and enrichment programmes.
- Undertake pastoral duties, including acting as a form teacher.
- Support school-wide initiatives, events, and inter-house competitions.
- Participate in professional development and training (INSET & CPD).
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- A DfE-recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent) in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 from a UK university.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in a primary setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to pupils’ success.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Recent teaching experience in the UK.
- Experience teaching in a British curriculum school.
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.
Please note: Due to Qatar’s work visa regulations, applicants must be under the age of 50.
