About Malvern College Tokyo

Malvern College Tokyo opened its doors in September 2023 as the newest member of the Malvern College Family of Schools. Since then, the College has grown steadily, welcoming pupils from an initial 150 to almost 400 at the start of its third academic year. Currently, the College accommodates pupils from Pre-Prep to Hundred (Year 11) and will extend upwards to Year 13 by 2027, ultimately offering around 950 places across both the Prep and Senior Schools.

As an IB continuum school, Malvern College Tokyo delivers a seamless international education through the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and, in due course, the Diploma Programme. Alongside its IB journey, the College is also undergoing COBIS accreditation, further demonstrating a commitment to high standards of global best practice.

Academic success is central to life at Malvern, but so too is the belief that education must go far beyond the classroom. A holistic education that encompasses character, creativity, wellbeing and personal growth lies at the very heart of a Malvern education, ensuring that pupils leave as confident, curious and compassionate young people ready to contribute meaningfully to the world.

Malvern College Tokyo benefits from the heritage and expertise of Malvern College UK and Malvern College International, working in close collaboration with the Babylon Education Group, which also manages Malvern College Chengdu, Malvern College Hong Kong and Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong. Together, these schools form a vibrant, globally connected family, united by a shared vision of excellence in education.
