Primary Classroom Teacher – Early Years Foundation Stage
Full-time, permanent position from September 2018
Salary – Competitive, based upon the United Learning pay scale
The Primary Phase of William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) is one of the most over-subscribed primary schools in Manchester. We have an excellent reputation and high aspirations for all of our children, who enjoy a creatively-rich curriculum and are equipped with the skills that will help them to become responsible members of the local and global community.
This is an exciting time to join the school. Having recently moved into a fantastic new building within the WHGS campus and expanded to two form entry, there is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding, hardworking and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated team of staff from September 2018, to promote excellence in teaching and learning in our Reception class. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they:
• Are committed to ensuring that children leave school with the best possible outcomes
• Can provide engaging learning experiences that inspire and support children to become lifelong, independent learners
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the commitment to work as part of a team
• Be a supportive colleague and play a full part as a key member of a team
• Be innovative and highly motivated
• Be able to work with parents and carers in providing excellent support.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a vibrant place to work with great staff and children, where your passion for children’s learning will be valued and where you will find a genuine commitment to continuing and enhancing your professional development.
We welcome applications from teachers with experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Visits to the school are encouraged. To arrange a visit, please contact Jo Douglas (School Support Services Manager) on 0161 241 1500, firstname.lastname@example.org
