Primary Teacher
Preshil is a small, secular and progressive co-educational school for ages 3 and 4 through to Year 12. The students take an active role in their education and develop responsibility for their actions; they are encouraged to ask challenging questions, to know themselves, care for others and achieve excellence on their own terms.
Preshil is an authorized International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (IBDP) and candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). While some experience in the IB programme is desirable a willingness to undertake the IB training is essential.
We are seeking a vibrant, passionate and experienced educator to join us for Term 3 who will work to create outstanding programs for every student.
This is a fixed-term, Long Service Leave replacement position for Term 3, Monday 16 July to Friday 22 September 2018. There is a possibility of ongoing employment for the right candidate.
