Job overview

The curriculum advisor will join our expert and dedicated Primary Knowledge Curriculum team, working alongside leaders and teachers in our five primary schools, as well as supporting schools nationwide through our Primary Knowledge Curriculum Partnership. The purpose of this role is to support teachers and leaders to successfully embed a well-sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum in their own schools. Through the PKC Partnership, we not only provide well-sequenced, knowledge -rich curriculum materials, but also up-to-date, research-based professional development and advice. 

As a curriculum advisor, you will work collaboratively with the team to write and deliver high quality professional development, provide advice and guidance to our trust primaries and partner schools to improve teaching and learning, and to write and edit curriculum materials and resources.   

Reports to: Director of Curriculum

Location: Flexible, with some travel and overnight stays required. PKC is based in West London and regular attendance will be required. The work can be carried out remotely from anywhere in the UK. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates based in Midlands, and the North of England, although candidates should not be deterred by this.

Start date: September 2022 (January 2023 will be considered for a suitable candidate) 

Contract: Permanent 

Pattern: Full-time or part-time considered (flexible working offered)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+ (depending on experience)
