Primary Deputy

Academia Britanica CuscatlecaEl Salvador

Academia Britanica Cuscatleca (ABC) is an established and very highly-regarded 3-19 international bilingual learning community situated in the beautiful country of El Salvador in Central America. The school is accredited by CIS, IB, IPC, is a member of the Latin American Heads Conference (LAHC) and holds the International Values Based Education (IVET) Quality Mark. Although quite a large school, the ABC is a warm and close-knit community with a strong sense of identity and a palpable commitment to its mission to change the world through the graduates it sends out into it.

We are pleased to invite applications for the role of Deputy Head, Primary to join us in August 2022. The successful candidate will join a strong and supportive leadership team and, together with the scope of the role and size of the school (670 children), this means that it would be excellent preparation for someone who is at least considering progressing on to headship. The school is very committed to its core values of Honesty, Empathy and Leadership and so the selection process will have as a key focus inquiring into the extent to which candidates live these values.

Applications should take the form of an up-to-date CV and submission of an example of your improvement planning in your current role; this latter may be in text or diagram form (or both) and the project need not necessarily have been completed yet.
