Job Overview 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Education Director to join our team at Ascend Learning Trust in this newly created role. Under the direction of a newly appointed CEO, you will be working within a dedicated and dynamic team, supporting a growing Executive Team for Ascend Learning Trust. 

Reporting to the Director of Education and in conjunction with the CEO, you will be responsible for the strategic development of school improvement services to the Trust primary schools, supporting the development of both teaching and leadership. 

As a successful applicant, you will:

  • Have a proven track record of recent leadership at Headteacher level in a UK state Primary school.
  • Be an outstanding communicator, who is approachable and reliable with a strong presence.
  • Hold the ability to inspire and provide strong leadership, with proven experience of developing, empowering and supporting staff.
