Work with us and inspire international students to fulfil their potential.
Our mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British International Community.
We develop global citizens who shape their world through independence, empathy, creativity and critical thinking.
Bangkok Patana School seeks enthusiastic, caring and experienced EAL teachers to work with children across the Primary School. The EAL teacher works in a collaborative way, planning with class teachers and other professionals in order to support children in mainstream classes. Experience of successfully teaching the English National Curriculum is beneficial and implementing recent UK initiatives is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and energy in abundance are key requirements. The willingness to be an effective team player and work closely with colleagues and parents is essential.
The Extra-Curricular Programme is a vital and integral component in the education of our student community. Therefore, applications are particularly welcome from teachers with experience, passion and talent in the areas of visual and performing arts, community service, debate, outward-bound activities and sports.
Bangkok Patana is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students and expects all staff to share the same commitment. Extensive checks (DBS if UK based) and references will form part of the application process.
"Bangkok Patana School is a unique community where both students and teachers share a passion for reciprocal and inquiry-based learning. The outstanding teachers were key in recognising and encouraging my talents, dreams and ambitions. More than a focus on academia, Bangkok Patana nurtured in me the values and skills needed to thrive as a respected global citizen in a multicultural environment. These lifelong skills were not only taught, but were lived, shared and celebrated in daily life."
