Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Primary French Teacher with experience teaching the Early Years and KS1 to join the Pre Prep team at one of South Woodford’s most prestigious independent school’s catering to students aged 3 to 13. The suitable Primary French Teacher will enjoy the prospect of working within this prominent school set in an attractive location surrounded by woodlands. Starting September 2019, this is a part time maternity cover role two days a week. This school has excellent facilities including modern, well-resourced classrooms and specialist facilities including an ICT suite and performance studio.

In order to be considered for this role, the Primary French Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

• OS-trained teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply

• Strong literacy, communication and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
