Newton British School is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of ICT to join our successful team for the next academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, talented and well-motivated teacher to join our school at Al Waab, Doha.
Candidates should be outward thinking in their approach to teaching and learning with the enthusiasm to develop ICT and a vision to continue the excellent work already undertaken. You must have very good subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all our students.
In November 2021, we were accredited for 3 years with the Qatar National School Accreditation team (QNSA). This was followed in May 2022 with successfully meeting the UK Government Department for Education's standards for British Schools Overseas (BSO).
Newton British School, Al Waab was established in 2008 and is an international school
following the English National Curriculum that is broad and balanced, providing
our children with a diverse range of opportunities where they can deepen their
knowledge, skills and understanding. The school is part of the larger Newton
Group that was established in 2006 and is now a leading group of private
schools in Qatar, comprising of many international schools that offer the
English National Curriculum.
We are seeking creative and dynamic teachers of the highest quality to join us at
NBS, Al Waab. Applicants should possess a commitment to helping children
achieve high academic standards in a lively and engaging manner, whilst
integrating differentiation and a range of learning styles into their daily
practice.
Applicants should:
- Be qualified teachers, ideally with 2 years’ experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
- Possess a creative, engaging and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside of the classroom
- Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills in order to work collaboratively with staff, students and parents.
- Have studied full time and produce degree transcripts from the university they attended
- Be fully vaccinated and submit a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and any other expectations in line with the MoPH/MoE at the time of joining the school.
