Penbridge School is seeking to appoint a part time Music Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2024. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher who can inspire our pupils in Key Stage 2 to develop a love for Music and performance.

Penbridge has been recently been accredited with The Artsmark Award by Arts Council England. The Artsmark award is the only creative quality standards for schools. It supports schools to develop and celebrate arts and cultural education, putting creativity and wellbeing at the heart of the curriculum. Artsmark ensures every young person can be creative and access diverse, high-quality cultural education.

  • Experience teaching Music at Primary School level
  • Degree in relevant teaching subject area
  • Passionate about teaching, learning and transforming the life chances of our children 
  • Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum 
  • High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities 
  • A positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools


About Us

Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School. The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit. The juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
