Position Objective

To provide quality teaching and learning according to the school’s teaching and learning policy. We are looking for Primary Music Teachers for Dusit Campus.

Teacher of Music position available immediately for a teacher who is passionate about implementing a thriving music and extra-curricular programme in a vibrant learning environment. The post involves teaching throughout the Nursery and Primary School.  Candidates should be highly resourceful, collegially minded and forward-thinking professionals, who are actively aware of the latest developments in music education, so that they can provide the best learning opportunities for the children.

                    

St. Andrews International School Dusit, Bangkok is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented Music teacher to teach children aged 2-11 at our school.

We provide a rigorous British education for students aged 2 – 11 year old in a stimulating and positive learning environment. Our international community of over 20 nationalities benefit from classrooms equipped with Interactive whiteboards, a dedicated ICT suite, and extensive sports facilities including 2 swimming pools, 2 indoor sports halls, and an outdoor all weather sports field. There is a careful balance between academic, creative and physical activities, with specialist teaching provision enhancing the learning in PE, swimming, music and languages. Small class sizes and high levels of personalised support ensure that the individual needs of each student are met, and they are inspired to achieve their full potential.  


Our School

St. Andrews International School Dusit is an Early Years – Primary school located in Bangkok, Thailand. St Andrews Dusit follows the EYFS and UK national curriculum and is an authorised by the EDT, ISAT and ISQM. St Andrews Dusit is comprised of two clear divisions including early years and primary and is further organised by Key Stages. St Andrews Dusit has a modern learning environment staffed by highly trained educators specialising in UK curriculum, play-based and inquiry-led teaching. The population of the school is 310 with ambitions to grow to 400.

The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge with a real passion for teaching music. 

  • An innovative and hands-on approach to teaching music
  • Ambitious, hard-working teacher, committed to achieving pupil progress
  • Lessons that enable all children to succeed through a creative approach to delivering the music curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and rehearse music for whole school events including the school production and concerts.
  • Provide extracurricular opportunities to enrich student learning

St. Andrews International School, Dusit is a small community school set just outside the grounds of the Chitralada Palace. Dusit is a fully inclusive and co-educational school for up to 400 Thai and expatriate children aged two to 11.
