Hampton Gardens is an 11-19 free school which opened in September 2017 to an initial intake of 180 Year 7 students. When full, the school will accommodate 1200 students in years 7-11 and 300 students in Sixth Form.  

Hampton Gardens is part of the Hampton Academies Trust who also run the highly successful and popular Hampton College all-through school, Hampton Lakes Primary School and Dogsthorpe Infant School. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.

PRIMARY CATCH-UP TEACHER

(Temporary appointment for one academic year)

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, creative and skilled Primary or SEN experienced teacher who will be able to lead on supporting our students to close the gaps and work towards national standards. Students will have timetabled lessons where the Catch-Up Teacher will work with Curriculum Leaders to plan appropriate tasks and interventions to support the progress of the students. The role will predominantly focus on Literacy and Numeracy progress but will also include other areas of the curriculum.

You will work as part of a team with Curriculum Leaders, Achievement Support and the Pastoral team to secure outcomes for specific students and groups of students. 

You will have the skills to continue to develop the curriculum for these students, providing personalised provision for individual students. You will be responsible for the delivery of Maths, English, Literacy and Numeracy, and therefore you will require a broad curriculum knowledge and be able to work effectively with staff within a number of curriculum areas.
