Meanwood CE Primary School is a thriving voluntary aided primary faith school at the heart of the suburb and former village in north-west Leeds, West Yorkshire. It sits on the edge of Meanwood Park with Meanwood Valley Trail and woodlands close by. The position is effective from 1 September 2023.

The Governors are looking for a leader who lives out the Christian ethos and values that are the golden thread within the community.

You will have a track record of demonstrating a passion for education and learning and will bring your unique and creative leadership experience and skills to continue our commitment to raising achievement and standards for all.

·        Is an inspirational and entrepreneurial school leader who can effectively ensure the vision of the school and continue to drive towards to the exceptional, whilst building on the existing foundations

·        Is committed to supporting and promoting the ethos and values of a Christian school in the tradition of the Church of England

·        Can embrace the principles outlined in the Church of England’s vision for education

·        Is inclusive, can demonstrate Christian love, respect, care and compassion for the school environment and the community it serves, and makes a difference

·        Is accessible and motivates, with the ability to empower and develop all layers of the staff team

·        Is committed to CPD and enabling people to advance in their careers

·        Can adapt to change and is responsive to the changing demographics of the school

·        Has strong interpersonal skills and can maintain and build on the effective partnerships, with the diocese, Holy Trinity Church and cluster of schools to support our community

Our new Headteacher will bring:
