St Cuthbert’s R.C. Primary School is a denominational school situated in the Slateford area of the City of Edinburgh. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of education in an inclusive environment whilst promoting the gospel values of love and respect for all. We are looking for an expert teacher to join our fantastic team who would be able to motivate and inspire children in a love of learning whilst developing skills for life and work.  The school has two Language and Communication Classes and a Nurture Classroom as part of our school.

This position however will require the successful candidate to work with pupils from our 7 mainstream classes as a Support for Learning teacher.

The job will provide opportunities to co-ordinate and support learning for children with additional support needs.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

Teachers are responsible for seeking approval of the Bishop of a Diocese for appointment to any post in a Catholic School.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
