Rafa Nadal International School is a truly international school, bringing together the strengths of two respected educational systems within one unified community.
In Primary, we follow a British curriculum, carefully adapted to an international context. This provides our youngest learners with a strong academic foundation built on clear progression, high expectations and a deep focus on core skills such as literacy, numeracy and critical thinking. Learning in Primary is structured, purposeful and child centred, with an emphasis on curiosity, independence and strong learning habits from the earliest years.
In Secondary, the school follows an American curriculum, offering students breadth, flexibility and a pathway that prepares them for universities and opportunities worldwide. This curriculum encourages analytical thinking, subject specialisation and personal responsibility, while continuing to uphold rigorous academic standards.
Although Primary and Secondary follow different curricular frameworks, the school operates as one coherent international institution. Shared values, consistent expectations and a common educational philosophy ensure continuity for students as they move through the school.
Across all stages, we place great importance on innovation and high quality facilities. The school is equipped with excellent learning spaces, specialist classrooms and modern resources that support both academic learning and creativity. Technology is thoughtfully integrated to enhance teaching and learning, while remaining purposeful and age appropriate.
High academic standards sit alongside a strong commitment to sport and physical wellbeing. As part of the Rafa Nadal ethos, sport is not an add on but a central pillar of school life. Students benefit from outstanding sports facilities and a culture that values discipline, resilience, teamwork and personal growth. These qualities are developed both on and off the court and are reflected in students’ attitudes to learning.
Underpinning everything we do is a belief in educating the whole child. We aim to nurture confident, principled and internationally minded young people who are well prepared for the academic, personal and sporting challenges ahead.
