Job overview

You must be an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young children. We are seeking to employ a dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join our supportive team at our sister primary school, The Greens. The successful applicant will be an experienced teacher with a track record of securing positive outcomes for children with autism, students who are non-verbal or display learning difficulties. You must have relevant experience working in this specialist area of SEND and the desire to make a difference. At our school we teach at stage, not age so successful candidates must be familiar with both the EYFS and KS1 Curriculum. This role involves working with a small class of up to 4 students and 1:1 intervention. The complex special educational needs of our students mean we use a range of communication techniques such as Makaton, PECS and AAC, experience in this area would be an advantage. We welcome applicants who have a minimum of 2 years' experience to apply for the role.
