Craighouse School is a co-educational bilingual school in Chile offering an outstanding education to some 2,000 pupils aged 3 to 18. The School is a full IB continuum school and a founding member of the Association of British School of Chile (ABSCH) as well as a founding member of the Latin American Head’s Conference (LAHC). Craighouse is located in the north of Santiago, Chile’s capital city. Santiago boasts a host of historical, artistic and culinary activities and is also perfectly positioned to enjoy the rest of Chile and South America. From Santiago both mountains and beach are easily accessible in roughly one hour, and trips further afield could feature the deserts in the north or the glaciers of Patagonia in the south. Chile is the safest country in Latin America, and it is possible to enjoy a very high quality of life in Santiago, with excellent healthcare, transportation links and other services.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an innovative and inspirational Primary Teacher to join our team in the Primary Section PYP team for February 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful applicant should:
-Have a relevant degree and teaching qualification; additional qualifications, such as a Master, are desirable.
-Have a proficiency level of English.
-Have a proven track record of success; experience of the IB PYP programme is an advantage.
-Be an excellent communicator who enjoys positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
-Be a creative and committed team player with a good sense of humor and a desire to participate fully in all aspects of school life.
