Due to growing student numbers, we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, dynamic teacher with a growth mindset and high expectations to join our Primary team. The successful candidate will focus on creating the best environments for our learners to grow and develop academically, emotionally, physically and socially.
The English College, Dubai is an established, independent, and co-educational school which opened in 1992. We offer a curriculum that accesses the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for FS1 and FS2, then addresses the National Curriculum of England from Year 1 to Year 13, with courses leading to GCSE and GCE A level examinations.
The English College is a well-resourced school with great facilities and a reputation for academic excellence; we place the success of each and every student at the centre of our mission. Successful applicants will:
Be enthusiastic, talented and dedicated practitioners with excellent subject knowledge
Hold a QTS or PGCE teaching qualification from the UK
Have a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching
Be able to provide a UK enhanced DBS or equivalent police check
Be professional in appearance and conduct
Be willing to contribute to the wider curriculum and support the vision of the school
Be innovative classroom practitioners with strengths in English, STEAM or The Arts.
Our remuneration package includes:
Tax free salary (between GBP28,449 to GBP43,371 per annum based on March 2020 exchange rates and dependent upon experience)
Furnished accommodation in a central Dubai location
Medical insurance
Annual flight allowance
Tuition fees for up to two children
Visa costs
End of service gratuity in line with UAE Labour Law
