Primary teacher

Kent College West Cairo is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our growing school community and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning across our Primary School.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Primary curriculum.

• Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure strong progress for all pupils.

• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Monitor pupil development and provide regular feedback to parents and school leadership.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and curriculum development.

• Contribute to the pastoral care and well-being of students.

• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and wider school life.

• Maintain excellent communication with staff, parents, and the leadership team.

• Implement differentiation strategies and support learners with diverse needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A relevant teaching degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

• Strong knowledge and practice of the Primary curriculum.

• Proven classroom teaching experience with a track record of promoting high pupil attainment.

• Experience working in an international school setting is desirable.

• Primary SEND experience/qualification is an advantage.
