We teach in small groups with a dedicated and experienced teaching team, ensuring that each student receives individual attention and care. We create individual learning packages to support our students' needs.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements, ensuring differentiation to meet students' educational needs.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress through formative and summative assessments, grade cards, and annual reports.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment, setting clear expectations for behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide guidance and pastoral support, ensuring student well-being and contributing to safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, assessment data, and compliance with policies.
- Work with colleagues, parents, and external organisations to support student learning and development.
- Stay updated with educational best practices, attend training, and contribute to the development of colleagues.
- Participate in and organise school clubs, events, and educational visits to enhance student experience.
- Ensure a safe learning environment, following school health and safety policies and maintaining risk assessments.
- Adhere to child protection policies, complete training, and actively promote the safety and welfare of students.

About You
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
- Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
- Qualified Primary Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification/experience.
- Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young person’s they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
