Primary Teacher (KS1/KS2).

Tes is currently supporting a friendly and supportive primary academy, based in Leeds. The academy is looking to add 2 Part-time Primary Teachers to its progressive and supportive primary school ideally starting February 2022 or sooner.

The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of KS1 or KS2 including class teaching and some intervention work. You will support the Head of Primary to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with exciting project work throughout the year. Project work will include revising schemes of work and ensuring the curriculum is engaging to all learners alongside projects that support student attainment, well-being and engagement within the wider school. You’ll also lead by example, supporting learners to achieve to the best of their ability and you’ll enjoy that great feeling when your learners achieve grades beyond their dreams.

"The academy is located in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth.  It is their mission to offer every child a high-quality education in a supportive, safe and challenging environment in which they feel valued and are inspired to become life-long learners who aim to ‘be the best they can be’.

They are looking to appoint 2 x 0.2 FTE Primary Teachers at 6.5 hours per week on a part-time permanent basis, to teach pupils across the full age and ability of Key Stage 1  and 2 in order to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being.

They would also consider 1 x 0.4 FTE Primary teacher at 13 hours per week."

• support package for NQT’s/RQT’s including CPD and NQT mentorship;

The school expects:

• A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• a relevant Education Degree or a related subject

��� experience of delivering KS1 or KS2, successfully engaging learners to progress

• a love and passion for education.
