The International School Breda (ISB) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking qualified Primary Teacher to strengthen its dynamic primary team with immediate effect.
Applicants must have 3 or more years’ experience of teaching in English or international education as well as having experience of teaching children with English as an additional language.
Qualifications
- A valid teaching qualification that is or will be recognized by the Dutch authorities
- Native or near native English speaker
- Additional qualifications in education eg. Special needs, EAL, IPC desirable
- Eligible to work in the EU
The successful candidate will:
- have three or more years’ experience of teaching in English or international education
- have experience of teaching children with EAL
- have experience teaching English as an Additional Language
- have excellent communication skills
- be flexible and highly skilled at differentiating
- be committed to the mission and vision of the school

The International School Breda offers Primary and Secondary education, as well as Daycare and After-School care under one roof. We are located in the Ruitersbos area, a beautiful leafy suburb in the southern part of Breda, close to the centre of the city.
The ISB Primary School now welcomes children aged from 3 to 11 years of age, since the introduction of our new Nursery class in August 2013. We offer the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) alongside Early Years, Literacy and Numeracy strategies from the UK.
The ISB Secondary School received IBO World School status in 2012 and offers students aged 11-16 the IB Middle Years Programme. Students aged 16-18 follow the IB Diploma Programme which is also available to regular Dutch students.
The ISB is part of the Dutch International Schools organisation that provides education for children of internationally mobile parents. Dutch International Schools are located throughout the Netherlands and are partly funded by the Dutch government.
