We have a fantastic opportunity at our Swaffham Campus for an enthusiastic and interactive Primary Teacher on a full time, permanent basis. 


Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of care, learning and achievement for all pupils 
  • Work alongside teaching colleagues, under the direction of the KS2 Lead and Campus Principal, as a lead mentor and coach, ensuring the best possible progress for all children
  • To plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, notwithstanding differences of race and gender and taking account of the needs of pupils who are under achieving or very able 
  • To plan effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SENDCo, prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual Educational Plans 
  • To assess, record and monitor each pupils progress in line with the National Framework profile and report to parents 
  • To use teaching strategies that keep pupils engaged through effective questioning, lively presentation and good use of resources 
  • To create a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports learning and which pupils feel secure and confident 


Experience required:

  • Have an up to date knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and assessment framework and teaching students in KS2
  • Have experience of supporting students with SEND 
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status / PGCE in Primary Education, GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths and Level 3 Qualifications 
  • Uphold and promulgate the OSGUK ethos within all areas of responsibility

The drive to create learners who are self-directed is advanced at OneSchool Swaffham Campus with students having access to state of the art learning centres in both senior and primary areas and a sixth form business centre.
