Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Working Pattern: 6.5 hours, 52 weeks (0.2 FTE)

About You:

Wroughton Academies are seeking a qualified and passionate Primary Teacher who is committed to making a positive difference for children. You will have experience across the primary age range and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and current educational developments. Confident in delivering phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc., you use creative teaching and assessment to support progress and maintain high expectations for all pupils.

You create a safe, purposeful learning environment, manage behaviour positively, and respond calmly to challenges. With excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, you build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents, using technology to enhance learning. Above all, you bring enthusiasm, resilience and empathy to everything you do.

 

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Ability to monitor pupil’s responses to learning and relate well to children and adults

  • Efficiency in managing classes and behaviour

  • Experience of working across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2

You will work alongside a talented and dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants who share a commitment to creating a supportive and successful learning environment for all pupils. The team works collaboratively to plan engaging lessons, share best practice and support one another, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
