Trythall Community Primary School is a small, rural school with a big reputation for enjoyment and excitement. Learning is related to experiences outside the confines of a normal classroom. Set in West Penwith, Cornwall, the school is surrounded by a spectacular school site, encircled by moorlands, woodland, streams, surfing beaches, remote villages, deserted coves and famous legends. Key stage 2 children surf once a week and sports days are held on Sennen beach. These unique surroundings form an integral part of life at Trythall and the children really do have something special to write about.

We are looking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with experience of working in Key stage 2. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach core subjects effectively, to classes of mixed age and ability by making the most of the wonderful experiences that these children have.

The school offers a comprehensive CPD programme is a member of Challenge Partners, The Applied Minds Learning Alliance and the Penwith Education Trust.

Trythall School is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children, young people and staff and the successful candidate will be expected to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks.
