Our website: https://www.lyceeinternational.london/discovering/mission-values-history

Our international, bilingual school places the wellbeing and the intellectual development of each student at the heart of every lesson, every strategy, and every decision we make.

We built our school on the principle that students must learn to ask difficult questions. We gave ourselves the goal to develop responsible, open-minded young people capable of taking on the challenges of an unpredictable world. We aim to develop their confidence and imagination through bilingual education. We strive to recruit and retain highly experienced international staff who take pride in every student’s progress and instil in everyone the profound joy of ambitious intellectual pursuits. Above all, the safe environment we have created celebrates the diversity of our families from all over the world and encourages invigorating conversations across cultures.

The Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill occupies the site of the former Brent Town Hall, a 1930s Grade II-listed building in the late Art Deco style that was bought from Brent Council by the French Education Property Trust in 2012. The new campus is set over five acres, with 12,000 square metres of refurbished and purpose-built teaching spaces for the three levels of schooling:

  • Early Years/Primary: Nursery/Reception to Year 6
  • Lower Secondary: Years 7 to 10
  • Upper Secondary: Years 11 to 13

The campus boasts multiple onsite sports facilities including a running track, three outdoor grass pitches, and an indoor gymnasium. The newly-constructed annex building houses modern science classrooms and a large, bright canteen.
