Education in Paradise!

At British International School, Phuket (BISP), we offer a unique professional environment where educators thrive. Our dedication is threefold: providing the highest standards of teaching and learning to a vibrant international community, while firmly integrating wellbeing and passion into our educational philosophy.

Our lush, well-equipped campus in Phuket provides an inspiring and peaceful environment that supports both personal and academic growth. While the tropical location certainly offers an ideal lifestyle, it is our supportive and professional community that encourages our excellent staff retention, with many teachers choosing to stay with us for over seven years.

We take pride in the balanced and diverse makeup of our team—in terms of both gender and experience. Many of our teachers also have their own children enrolled in the school, reflecting the trust and confidence we hold in our own educational environment. Whether you are just starting your career or are a highly experienced veteran, you will contribute to the rich, dynamic educational environment we foster.

With extensive facilities and a strong emphasis on healthy living and caring for one another, BISP offers a unique opportunity. We are seeking passionate teachers who will not only contribute positively to our community but also embrace our core ethos:

VISION

Maximise student potential by delivering the highest standards of teaching and learning to an international community emphasising wellbeing and passion, on a green, well equipped campus.

PHILOSOPHY

Our educational philosophy is founded on the Triple Helix model, where learning, wellbeing, and passion are interdependent and essential for a balanced and fulfilling life.

Learning at BISP is holistic, engaging the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child. We believe learning happens everywhere, not just within classroom walls or through traditional subjects. Our approach aims to foster a lifelong love of learning through active participation and exploration.

Wellbeing is central to our community, helping students find meaning, identity, and purpose, leading to personal growth and fulfillment. Passion is what drives and motivates individuals. At BISP, we encourage students to pursue their passions with enthusiasm and to appreciate the journey as much as the achievement.

Join us in creating an educational experience that inspires, nurtures, and ignites the passions of our students and staff alike.
