ICS Paris is an international bilingual IB school with over 500 students of 50 nationalities from kindergarten to 12th grade located in Paris in the heart of the 15th arrondissement. The school has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. It offers the IB curriculum to educate students who will shape our world of tomorrow. Students and teachers from over 70 countries form an international and multicultural community. 

Your responsibilities  

• For the upcoming academic year, our school is looking for a PYP primary teacher.  
• Reporting to our Head of School, you will be in charge of one or more English language class(es) at our school in Paris.  
• Your main responsibilities will include  
• Design, implementation and evaluation of learning situations within the framework of the PYP elementary school programs.  
• Teaching in English in the different learning areas of the PYP elementary school.  
• Design and implementation of learning assessment methods.  
• Individual monitoring of students.  
• Use of information and communication technologies to support learning. 

Your Profile  

You must be an active learner with a passion for developing students' IB Diploma Programme learning, have a high level of intercultural understanding and be aware of the complexities and opportunities of an international school. You are a team player, able to collaborate, take ownership and responsibility, as well as evaluate IB education, provide coaching and support as needed. You have knowledge in the field of education and understand the potential of very young children.  

• Teacher's degree, knowledge and experience of at least 5 years in PYP and IB.  
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing  
• Strong experience with the IB and PYP program and international schools   
• Ensure that students meet the needs and requirements of the IB program  
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills   
• Demonstrate a collaborative approach to planning and leading initiatives
