Who are we?


Park House English School located in Abu Hamour, Doha, Qatar was established in 1994 and is a co-educational private English school. The school aims to provide the best education for each student and to give every child a happy education that equips them with the skills to become lifelong learners and successful global citizens.  

The school is extremely well respected and is ranked outstanding, the school operates under full capacity with a  students’ number of 1045 comprised of 68 nationalities, with approximately 60% of students having English as their second language.  

The school broadly follows the National Curriculum for England from Early Years to Key Stage 5 (KS5). In Years 10 and 11, classes follow a curriculum leading to qualifications at the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) levels with the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Board and Edexcel Board. Students at Years 12 and 13, follow a curriculum leading to IAL qualifications at Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced (A) Level with the CIE and Edexcel boards.

Park House English School  is owned and operated by International Schools Partnership, an ever-growing global family of schools where the child's learning is at the core of everything we do. Our schools are located around the globe with more outstanding centres of educational excellence joining our partnership all the time. Primary Class Teachers   

We are seeking to appoint motivated, highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who would work alongside, develop and support a staff team in our continued pursuit of excellence.    

We are seeking teachers who have at least two years of teaching experience, a Bachelor’s Degree and a PGCE. Successful candidates will be able to contribute widely to the growth of collaborative teams enabling us to further develop the curriculum so we can continue offering the very best learning experience at Park House.

Who are we looking for? 

  • A relevant teaching qualification: minimum of a B.Ed. or BA/BSc + PGCE/QTS for the age group you will be teaching, and for specialist roles, a degree in the subject you teach
  • A minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience preferred
  • An excellent understanding of primary teaching and learning
  • Experience / understanding of English language learning, particularly for students for whom English is a second language
  • Excellent communication skills to lead by example and to collaborate with leaders, Senior Management and parents
  • Ability to research new initiatives and implement them whilst evaluating current processes
