About the role
We look for a dynamic and charismatic Primary Teacher for Letovo Junior School. The candidate will be internationally minded with a demonstrable passion and deep understanding of Letovo School vision, mission and values.
Key tasks
- Planning and conducting classes for children aged 5 to 11 according to the school educational program;
- Monitoring of academic performance, behavior, social development and physical health of children;
- Systematic analysis of the effectiveness of classes and teaching approaches, monitoring and evaluation of learning achievements based on testing and other control methods in accordance with learning capabilities of children;
- Participation in designing of educational programs;
- Realization of modern, interactive, forms and methods of educational work in various types of children's activities (educational, game, sports, arts, etc.);
- Setting educational goals that promote the development of students, regardless of their abilities and character, individual development plan;
- Regulation of students' behavior to ensure a safe educational environment, including cooperation with other responsible staff members (tutor, psychologist, speech therapist, etc.);
- Classroom management and providing feedback to supervisors and parents;
- Teamwork with other teachers
- Work in the electronic journal system;
- Assessment, reporting;
- Participation in PT conferences, extra curriculum programs
Requirements
- Degree in Early Education, Bed, PGDE/PGCE in Primary
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with young years’ age
- Experience teaching using the EYFS framework and/or the PYP
- Excellent student results

Letovo is a non-profit private school for talented children who are eager to learn and challenge themselves academically and personally. The campus for senior school students is located southwest of Moscow in the newly developed Novaya Moskva district (open countryside), and Letovo Junior is located in the city center.
Letovo is a highly selective School serving up to 1000 bright students from all over Russia in grades seven through eleven (the last five grades in the Russian education system) in a senior campus and up to 250 pre-school and primary aged children in Junior school.
The School Site
The School is located in a new suburban district of Moscow. Letovo campus perfectly fits into the natural landscape characteristic of central Russia. Near the school there is a pond, a river and a beautiful pine forest which is used for both academic, sports and leisure activities.
The infrastructure of Letovo school consists of 19 thousand square meters of premises, 10 houses for students, 3 houses for teachers, 40 classrooms, 1,000 seats in the theater, 5 library rooms, 9 scientific laboratories, 4 sports halls and 1 stadium. All premises are designed specifically for children to be accessible and proportionate to their needs providing a quiet and safe place for every child.
Letovo school is a winner of the 2016 Moscow Architecture Committee Award in the nomination for The Best Architectural and Urban Planning Solution for Education and Medicine.
