Primary Teacher

Panyathip - The British International School in LaosVientiane

Panyathip International School, The British International School in Laos has a vacancy for  a suitably qualified Primary Teacher from January 2022.

Vientiane, the capital city, is where we have three age specific (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) purpose built campuses and there is another,  but smaller all-through, campus in the Southern city of  Savannakhet.

The ideal candidate will  have experience of teaching children whose first language may not be English, who understands the importance of differentiation and are willing to contribute to the school outside the classroom. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have SEND and EAL experience. Applications from teachers who have experience of teaching the IPC or other inquiry based curricula will also be viewed favourably.

For those who are looking to enhance their own experience, there will be opportunities to help the school develop in a number of areas.

Our students are generally well motivated, almost always well behaved and eager to learn.

If you are interested and excited at the prospect of moving to one of SE Asia's most beautiful and interesting countries in January 2022 we would love to hear from you.

Applicants from all those interested in joining us whether as newly qualified teachers and those who are more experienced or recently retired are welcome.
