Our School 

 

The Gatwick School is an all-through school to Year 11, located just a few minutes south of London Gatwick Airport. 

 

Founded in 2014, our school is part of the Aurora Academies Trust, and has approximately 400 students in primary and 600 in the secondary phase. 

 

Under new leadership since September, the school has ambitious plans for creating the best possible experience for our students, equipping them with all the skills they need for success, both now and in the future. We want all students and staff to be proud members of our TGS family.

The Role

As a teacher in the primary phase of the school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs and interests of your pupils. You will follow the school's policies in monitoring pupil's progress and providing feedback and support. You will work collaboratively with other staff members and contribute to the school's vision and ethos.

Opened in 2014, and judged 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas.  The Gatwick School is a state-funded all-through school based in Crawley, West Sussex. Teaching children aged 4-16, the school is non-denominational and mixed gender. Located on Gatwick Road, it is less than a mile from the international airport of the same name.

The school can be accessed on public transport by the Metrobus network, with the Gatwick Road North bus stop situated outside the school. The Gatwick School has a breakfast club and runs OASIS clubs at the end of the day for after-school intellectual stimulation.
