Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher with high expectations to start in September. You will work in KS2. Schemes of work are in place but you will be expected to help review and further develop them to meet the needs of our children. You will work closely with the other class teachers, working within a strong team, and will be well supported by teaching assistants and a pastoral team.

You will also have a responsibility to lead Maths across the school. This will involve securing high-quality teaching and learning and the effective use of resources to bring about high standards of achievement and good progress for all pupils. There are already strong plans in place that need an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to take them forward to ensure Maths at Sidney Stringer Primary remains a strength. We work closely with the Maths Hub and there are excellent CPD opportunities to ensure you stay up-to-date with current research and thinking. The scale of this role is dependent on your experience. For the right candidate, there would be the possibility of leading Maths across both Primary schools in the Trust, Sidney Stringer Primary and Radford Primary.
