If so we would love to hear from you!

We require a consistently outstanding primary teacher to work in school  from January 2018 to 31st August 2018. This post will initially be to work in Key Stage 2 but a willingness to gain experience in another Key Stage in the future would be an advantage. We are looking for another special teacher to add to our fantastic team. Please let us know what your subject specialisms and interests are. An interest in SEN, PE, Music, PSHCE and Art would be an advantage, but a rigorous approach to the teaching of basic skills is a necessity. Skelton School is a friendly small school with a good reputation. We have an Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ and have enthusiastic and well behaved pupils. Ideally we are seeking a January start if possible for this post. Experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. Pay range for this post will be M2-M4. This post may become permanent depending upon a continued increase in pupil numbers to the school.

Interested candidates should contact the school for an application pack or download from this website or the school website. If you have any queries please email psskelton@york.gov.uk. Completed applications may be emailed with a covering letter to psskelton@york.gov.uk and marked for the attention of Mrs A Halley. Visits to the school are available on request – please call 01904 555170 to arrange an appointment.

The closing date for applications will be Thursday 23rd November 2017 at midnight.
Interview date: Tuesday 28th November 2017.

Thank you for your interest in our school.
