Aalesund International School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and visionary Principal for August 2022 to lead this school through the next exciting stage in its development. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified senior leaders to promote and develop the school through its successful IB Primary and Middle Years programmes.

With a current enrolment of 100 from ages 6-15, students are drawn from the international and local communities, and follow the IB Primary and Middle Years Programmes. Aalesund International School is a vibrant, young and growing school and is currently welcoming new students.

Located in a suburb of the municipality of Ålesund on the west coast of Norway, Aalesund International School offers an attractive salary and package including pension support, healthcare, relocation support and schooling for dependents.

About Aalesund International School (AaIS)

Aalesund International School (AaIS) is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational all-through school in Norway, serving students from the age of 5-15. The all-through school is situated in Aalesund. 

Aalesund International School opened in 2012 after a recognised need in the local area for a school to serve the growing international community. It is divided into a Primary and Middle school, with students being taught in English and Norwegian. Students are taught from the International Baccalaureate Programme. Facilities include a swimming pool, sports grounds and a library.
