Perth College is a leading partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), Scotland's newest University. We offer a wide range of courses, from access to honours and masters level.

Perth College UHI is committed to delivering an excellent student experience, student success is at the centre of all we do. Our Education Scotland (HMI) inspection in January 2016 demonstrated that we deliver on this commitment. We have ambitious plans for the future, and have recently opened our new £7.5 million Academy of Sport and Wellbeing. We continue to build on our successful international business and research developments. The College and its subsidiary, Air Service Training, have partnerships in China, the Middle East and the States. The internationally renowned Centre for Mountain Studies is our key research centre.

To fill the role of Principal and Chief Executive, you will need to be a dynamic, highly motivated individual with an excellent track record in leadership and substantial senior management experience in a FE and/or HE, or similar environment. You are likely to hold a post graduate qualification and you will have the breadth of vision and understanding to lead a tertiary educational institution. Strong leadership and communication skills will enable you to lead and work effectively with the Board, staff, students and external stakeholders, gaining and retaining their confidence and ensuring delivery of the Colleges strategic objectives.
