This is a great opportunity for a Principal who is looking to be an innovative and strategic leader, ensuring both Schools and Care homes have the resources, staff and ability to inspire learning in both academic and personal SEN environments, for children with varied Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and complex needs.

This specialist SEN school has an occupancy of 49 pupils aged 11-18  and there is also a number of residential Children’s homes aligned to the school.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be the custodian of their strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have managing responsibilities over your Head of Education and Head of Care
  • Deliver clear, authentic leadership to their multidisciplinary team, establishing a school vision and strategic plan, which inspires your team to deliver high levels of safety, quality, compliance, and dedication
  • Ensure your school and residential provisions have effective management and an engaged, high performing team to deliver outstanding education and care.

Our client is looking for a Principal with the experience, leadership skills and vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

There also expansion plans to open a new school later this year so this will be an exciting opportunity to drive the expansion of the site.
