ACG is now seeking to appoint a new Principal to lead ACG Senior College. As New Zealand's only specialist pre-university centre, ACG Senior College became a focus for educational innovation and outstanding educational success. It has consistently ranked as the top co-educational senior school in the country.

An urban school tucked in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, ACG Senior College is a private co-educational, Years 11 - 13 senior high school, which offers a unique educational environment where achievement is celebrated and students are encouraged to develop their independence and to extend themselves.

We are also seeking Expressions of Interest from innovative educationalists (both proven Principals and aspiring school leaders) seeking to work as a Principal within our Schools as the ACG Group undertakes its current expansion phase.

Ideal candidates will have the following attributes and characteristics:

  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a record of achievement as an innovative educational leader.
  • A passion for independent education.
  • Proven commercial and business acumen.
  • Leadership experience in a school or related educational setting having held accountability at different functional levels including academics, finance or other business functions.
  • Experience in Cambridge International Examinations and/or International Baccalaureate would be advantageous.

About ACG Senior College

ACG Senior College is a co-educational independent secondary school for students in Years 11 to 13. It is based in Auckland in New Zealand. 

The school opened its doors in 1995, becoming New Zealand’s first school for senior students. It does not require students to wear a uniform but there is a dress code. Students can take courses at various levels such as IGCSE and AS. Some students in Year 13 study at the school part-time and attend university courses at the University of Auckland as well. The school is also committed to providing students with courses leading to the Cambridge International Examinations and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Furthermore, it has a tutor system where every student is assigned a tutor who oversees their academic progress and supports them pastorally.
