Canberra Girls Grammar School is known for providing every girl with an exceptional and well-rounded education. Following the recent announcement that Anne Coutts is leaving, after over seven years of excellent leadership, the Board is seeking to appoint the School’s next Principal.

A non-selective Anglican School with over 1,400 day and boarding students, the School has a record of outstanding academic success, offering the IB Diploma as well as the ACT Senior Secondary System. The girls’ wellbeing is central, providing each with the foundation from which she can achieve her best across all spheres of her education.

The next Principal will be an inspiring contemporary educator who compellingly articulates the strategic vision for the School and forges strong relationships with the girls, parents and staff, as well as with the Canberra community. Evidence-based decision making and the capacity to lead effective operational implementation are desirable attributes, as are warmth of engagement, willingness to support the Christian ethos of the School, and commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
