Southway Primary Academy is looking for an ambitious, inspirational, and innovative Principal to drive rapid school improvement and further raise the quality of education for all pupils within the school. Southway is a large school, with the capacity for 630 pupils. It is situated in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, a south coast resort with easy access to London, Gatwick, Brighton and Portsmouth. Our school opened ten years ago in modern, airy, purpose-built accommodation.

Southway is on a campus that includes The Regis School (secondary); Arena Sports Centre; Stepping Stones Nursery, all of which belong to the United Learning Trust. The campus also includes the Phoenix Youth Centre and the West Sussex Adult Education Service (Aspire). Good collaborative working between these groups already exists to serve local people and is developing. Southway’s Principal would have the opportunity to contribute to that cooperative growth.
