With a state of the art, £18 million campus and a reputation for technological innovation, Essa Academy is the flagship school of the Essa Foundation Academies Trust (EFAT).

The trust has recently appointed its new Chief Executive, who has considerable experience of trust development and school leadership. It is now looking to appoint an ambitious Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or Head of School to work with him and deliver inspirational and motivational leadership across the academy to raise aspirations, drive performance, and improve standards.

We would like from you:

• The determination and confidence to strive for, and achieve, great outcomes for Essa Academy
• The interpersonal skills to bring out the best in students, parents, staff, Governors and the wider community
• Substantial leadership experience and a track record of improvement and impact
• The ability to set the tone and be a strong presence around the Academy
• A real understanding of what effective teaching and learning look like
