Job overview
Whitehill Community Academy
Principal
Leadership L22 – L28
£79,112 - £91,633
An increased salary scale may be considered for an outstanding candidate
Whitehill Community Academy is a large three form entry school with high ambitions and a great staff body to match.
The academy entered Trinity Multi-Academy Trust in January 2024 and is on an exciting journey. There is much to do, and this position will appeal to a candidate that has the desire to lead the transformation of an establishment that will move from good to great. Our improvement work has begun and by September we are confident that there will be a solid base to build across all elements of school life; from curriculum to back office support structures. The successful candidate will be well placed to shape the direction of further developments.
Our ambitions are high but the support to the academy from the trust matches this. You will be working closely with an Executive Principal who is an experienced school leader. Alongside this you will have the full support of our world class central support team. This includes support from dedicated IT, HR, Finance and Compliance teams who are at the end of the phone whenever the need arises.
The successful candidate must be passionate about improving students’ life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education, and committed to achieving excellent results for the students. You must have a strong work ethic, high expectations of yourself and others, and have the ability to lead staff and students in realising those expectations. Although this is a three-form entry school, this application process is open to people with a variety of educational experience. At Trinity we believe that if you share our values, we can develop you into a leader that will ensure children in your care get off to the very best start in life.
If you would like a conversation about this position or to visit the school please speak to Charlie Johnson (Executive Principal) via his PA Kylie Ball kball@grammar.trinitymat.org on 01422 831011.
Start date: 01 September 2024
Closing date: 9am Friday 15 March 2024
Interviews: Wednesday 20 March (Stage 1) and Thursday 21 March (Stage 2)
