BEDFORDSHIRE EAST MULTI ACADEMY TRUST

BEMAT is looking to appoint a Principal at Robert Bloomfield Academy

BEMAT is an alliance of Gothic Mede Academy, Gravenhurst Academy, Etonbury Academy, Langford Village Academy, Robert Bloomfield Academy and Samuel Whitbread Academy.

BEMAT has six academies educating over 3,500 pupils and we are looking forward to welcoming more schools who share our vision. Robert Bloomfield academy was reaffirmed as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2014. With an excellent reputation in the local community, it is a very popular and oversubscribed academy which consistently delivers excellent Key Stage 2 results. The academy has an unrivalled reputation for sport and the arts play an important part in children’s academic lives. BEMAT has invested in updating Robert Bloomfield’s facilities and this investment will continue in 2016.

We seek an exceptional individual who will continue to develop the current excellent provision at the academy. The primary focus of this role is to concentrate on the needs of the pupils, parents and staff at Robert Bloomfield, but BEMAT may offer additional executive leadership opportunities across the trust.

If you feel this is the right challenge for you then why not apply to join us to lead the Academy as part of BEMAT at an exciting transitional point for the academy and the trust.

Bedfordshire East Multi Academy Trust (BEMAT) is an organisation whose prime aim is to ensure that children reach and exceed their potential.

To facilitate this we provide support and challenge to our member academies who serve our local community. We want all of our academies to provide an outstanding education.

Our organisation is designed to provide services and leadership which free individual academies to concentrate on children’s development and well-being through excellent learning and teaching.

Our organisational strategy ensures that each academy provides an individual ethos that means we deliver:

1. Excellent teaching standards and methods which allow our children to learn effectively.

2. A modern and vibrant curriculum which prepares our children to lead successful lives.

3. Support that overcomes barriers to learning.

4. The excellent learning environments that our children deserve.

5. Extra-curricular opportunities that develop our children into well-rounded individuals.

We are committed to our children and to serving our local community.

We will consider schools, academies and organisations joining our organisation, or working in partnership with us, if they can demonstrate the same aspirations.
