Kingsmeadow Community Comprehensive School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. The school is operated by Gateshead Council, and has about 950 pupils. It is located in Dunston in the north east of England.

It aspires to help all students realise their dreams and promotes opportunities to nurture moral, social, spiritual and cultural education.   Kingsmeadow aims to celebrate success at every opportunity, and aspires to be thorough, rigorous and encouraging when preparing pupils for their future.  The school promotes a digitally inclusive school.

The school body works hard to maintain developments and is constantly seeking challenges to develop practice through collaboration with other like minded schools and groups.  The aim is to constantly seek to innovate and improve the offer for students and the local community. While academic success is important, the commitment to the Kingsmeadow CHARACTER curriculum and the focus on PBL ensures a platform for developing well equipped, well rounded, knowledgeable citizens of the world community.
