The Everychild Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust formed in 2016, is seeking to appoint a Principal Designate/Headteacher for Hatchlands Primary School, a brand new, two form entry Primary Free School opening in September 2018 within the Reigate/Redhill area. Our MAT already comprises one other very successful member school, Sandcross Primary and the Trust envisages that the ethos established there, which was the foundation for the Trust values, will guide the direction of the new school, whilst allowing for individuality.

The school will open with two Reception classes only, expanding to 420 NOR over the years. The school will be situated in an attractive, converted building, completely refurbished with ample space, close to local shops and bus routes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, well-qualified, outstanding teacher with successful senior leadership experience to create an amazingly successful school. A deep understanding of the needs of very young children will be needed as well as successful, wider primary experience. There will be extensive support from advisors during the first year and beyond, so this could well be a first headship for the right candidate.

We need to find our brilliant new headteacher quickly, as prospective parents will be seeking information about the new school from September 2017 onwards and will want to meet the new Headteacher. The ability to engage an audience and articulate an exciting and credible vision in simple terms will be crucial as some presentations to parents will be needed during the Autumn Term 2017.
