Are you ambitious for all children and passionate about helping them to flourish and achieve their very best in all aspects of school life and beyond? Join us as Principal at Edenthorpe Hall Academy and make a real difference.

You will already be an exceptional senior leader at a successful primary school, and have real ambition to improve the life chances of pupils at Edenthorpe. You will further develop a positive culture and ethos where each child is expected to do well and their progress is supported every step of the way.

The Edenthorpe team are committed to ensuring that the academy keeps its friendly, caring atmosphere whilst ensuring that children develop a broad range of life skills. We want all pupils to become confident, independent learners who show respect for one another and thrive on success.

We look forward to hearing from you if you:

  • Are a passionate, enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious school leader with a track record of success
  • Have high expectations of staff, and can encourage participation, innovation and confidence
  • Can maintain and communicate a clear strategic vision and direction for the school
  • Are able to support children to reach their full potential regardless of background or circumstance
  • Have experience of having helped lead a school that provides an excellent education for its pupils.

In return we can offer you:

  • A dedicated team with high ambition for their pupils
  • The support and expertise of a Regional Director
  • A highly effective team of Central Support for curriculum, Finance, HR, Estates and other functions
  • The opportunity to complete NPQs
  • An unrivalled professional progression model.

We encourage you to arrange a visit to the school and to have a conversation with the Regional Director prior to making your application. Please contact Joanne Powell - joanne.powell@astreaacademytrust.org - to arrange a visit or a call.

If you are joining us from another school, academy or trust we recognise your continuous service date with confirmation from your current employer. This can be discussed in more detail at interview.

Astrea Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Posts are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
