Global Academy is a school like no other – the invitation to become our next Principal is an opportunity like no other.
Global Academy is a leading University Technical College (UTC for 14-19 year olds, founded in 2016 and now with 420 students and growing). We specialise in the fast paced, ever expanding and exciting creative industries. We are one of only a handful of schools in the country whose purpose is to help students find high quality university places, apprenticeships, or employment, in the Creative Media industry.
Our students benefit from having access to world-class technical media facilities at our unique creative campus in Hayes, Middlesex.
We are an ambitious and thriving UTC that is determined to grow and reach our full potential – certainly locally, and quite possibly nationally. With the right Principal coming alongside our strong senior leadership team (allied to the considerable resources, talent and entrepreneurial flair made available through our founding sponsor Global, one of the world’s leading Media & Entertainment groups) - we know Global Academy has an exciting future, under the right leadership.
Can you think and plan strategically - equipped with the vision and presence which inspires confidence and can achieve Global Academy’s high ambitions? … if so, we would love to hear from you.
To be successful, your background almost certainly includes a successful track record in the role of Headteacher or Deputy within a state maintained secondary school or academy.
Closing Date: Monday 15 April at 12 Noon
Interviews: Tuesday 23 April (eve) and Wednesday 24 April
Your early application is recommended. We may interview before the closing date if sufficiently strong applicants apply.
